On Friday, August 29th, 2025, the Iraqi Society of Dermatologists and Venereologists held a specialized scientific workshop in Baghdad, in collaboration with Biomed Scientific Office, titled “New Melan – The Revolutionary Solution for Hyperpigmentation.” The workshop was delivered by Professor Roland Tomb, Consultant Dermatologist, who discussed the latest therapeutic approaches to managing hyperpigmentation and highlighted the innovative role of New Melan in improving and evening skin tone.

The event was attended by board member Dr. Mustafa Al-Hazem, along with a distinguished group of society members, in an engaging scientific atmosphere that aimed to enhance physicians’ knowledge and keep pace with advances in aesthetic dermatology. The workshop reflected the Society’s commitment to continuous medical education and to introducing state-of-the-art solutions for hyperpigmentation disorders to dermatology practitioners in Iraq.
